A New Year and January Sales
Happy New Year! It's got to the 19th January somehow before I've had a chance to sit down and write.
January in retail is a funny old month, busy with Winter & Christmas sales whilst planning and buying for the year ahead. If you think your home looks naked after the Christmas decorations come down the shop is on another level. And after meticulously positioning every item before Christmas it all gets moved and squeezed into one small area for the sale and while we await new stock arriving the shelves look cold, empty and lonely!
Anyway the Christmas sale is just coming to an end after the initial hit and as everyone has their decorations back in the roof space not many are wanting to look their way.
However the A/W clothing and footwear sale is always a hit right through January especially with this current cold snap - picking up a half price Lighthouse coat, Powder hat & scarf, a pair of leather gloves and a cosy jumper for under a £100 is easy!
We still have ends of our last InWear collection some items starting from £10!! If you're lucky you can find your size in a bargain pair of S Oliver, Marco Tozzi or Woden boots at 50% off.
As the sale whittles down it makes way for the new early Spring stock to make an appearance on the rails, there is still lovely thick knitted jumpers but in those oh so welcome bright Spring/Summer colours, and why not Winter darkness is long enough!
